In order to ensure that Afentra operates in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, maintains a safe and secure working environment for our people and respects the dignity of our people and the members of all the communities we work with, the new management team is undertaking a formal, detailed review of Afentra’s existing policies and commitments in these areas to ensure that we fully meet, and, where possible, exceed our obligations, in line with our updated strategic objectives.
Considering our diverse range of stakeholders, we shall ensure that we maintain policies that apply current best practice in the areas of the Environment, Safety & HSES, People, Climate Change, Modern Slavery, Human Rights, Anti-Bribery & Corruption and Whistle-blowing. The Board shall review these policies regularly to ensure they continue to be fit for purpose and evolve as Afentra’s business grows and as we progress towards operatorship of assets.
